As Recruitment Event Coordinator for the Kappa Alpha Theta organization, I oversaw the entire production of the chapters 2018 preference event. I adopted new visual approach than had been used in years past through implementing bold jewel tones, eclectic floral arrangements, and an overall vintage appeal. In this creative role, I managed a budget, collaborated with a team of 10 people, and communicated with event vendors.
LA BREA FARMERS MARKET X SWEETGREEN
While working at the dFm, I had the opportunity to design posters 4 for The La Brea Farmers Market Launch Party. The process entailed calculating how many posters were needed to install and at what size. The posters were printed and wheat pasted behind the DJ stand at this event. I was honored to hand over the rights for my veggie illustrations to sweetgreen.
My photography is featured on packages of Trident gum across the country as part of their #WEGOTFLAVOR marketing campaign. Check it out in stores for a limited time.
Blue is an interactive photographic installation that invites guests to sift through a garment rack full of white t-shirts. A series of 3 photos, printed on thin fabric, are intertwined among the shirts. As an alternative to displaying this work on the wall, this concept pushes the boundaries of how photography traditionally is enjoyed. Those who interact are not only able to create meaning from the images themselves but also find a deeper narrative in the surrounding display. This installation was shown at a UCLA undergraduate show.
Using old home videos as a muse, Sonnet 96’ flashes through the whirlwind of emotions associated with life, love, memory, death and a yearn for never-ending youth. By appropriating snippets of digital memories from my families VHS archives, this piece overrides memory as it is encapsulated on original tapes. Shakespearean “Sonnet 73” discussing life, love and death, is used as the dialogue for this piece, and the juxtaposition of such words on the screen places the project into a poetic space and expresses and indecipherable emotional state.
The 90’s inspired scene, including various props, allow for the space to look like a child’s bedroom from the past and further submerses the viewer into a nostalgic state. Noise cancelling headphones allow for the audio output of this piece which were able to keep the viewer locked into this time capsule while the personal 3 minute experience to takes form. This project may be seen as a response to another huge milestone in my life, graduating from UCLA and still grasping tight to my youth.
MOTION EXHIBITION 2018
Feb 14 90 was projected on three large walls in an empty viewing space. The work includes content from my parents wedding video and music from Drake. At the exhibition, guests were able to immerse themselves in the middle of these large screens. Feb 14 90 was shown at an undergraduate Motion exhibiton.

Parents is a VR scene Inspired by the painting "My Parents" by David Hockney. In this world, a realistic room juxtaposes the bright cartoon-like colors and animation. This was my first time playing with virtual reality! The Vive VR headset, Steam, Unity, & Maya were are key players in the making of this project.
